OPPER leisure

tufted works, 2024-2025

Part of the Birth of OPPER project, I made a series of works about leisure in the OPPER tower.

They explore the integration of future technology in different aspects of people’s lives. The characters wear the purple 'uniforms' of OPPER tower, inspired by Steve Jobs. The compositions use soviet sports propaganda posters as reference.

The works can be combined in different compositions and can be attached to the wall or to wooden panels as sculptural elements in the space.

The project is supported by CBK Rotterdam and Stimuleringsfonds.

Technique: tufted with tufting gun
Materials: wool, acrylic, cotton
